Research
I have a wide variety of research interests, but two have dominated my free time for the past several years.
Quantitative finance. Triangular arbitrage is a dominant influence in foreign exchange dynamics. By recovering latent per-currency values from the full network of direct quotes, the residual arbitrage inconsistency can be used as a medium-frequency alpha signal and the currency values as inputs to USD-denominated commodity pricing.
Human–AI collaboration. Vibe-coding has made software cheap to produce and expensive to trust, and its symptoms are consistent: documentation that claims what was never verified, design decisions made by momentum, and a human who learns what they built only after it ships. I’m studying whether a single-file project-agnostic contract can suppress those symptoms more consistently than prompt engineering.
